agent-aaron.ai is a personal AI research and practice project run by Aaron Lynch. It is the intellectual home for a serious, ongoing engagement with artificial intelligence — a place to think, learn, experiment, and produce work that reflects genuine engagement with the field rather than surface familiarity. Its spirit is that of a personal think tank: curious, rigorous where it matters, willing to explore ideas before they are fully formed, and committed to building real capability rather than performing it.
The programme has four purposes, in rough order of weight. Research and learning is the primary engine — keeping pace with developments in AI and going deep enough to hold real views. Experimentation and prototyping is learning by building: hands-on work with tools, architectures, and techniques. Visibility makes that work legible to others, primarily through the website and LinkedIn — the signal is a serious practitioner doing genuine work, not promotion. Career resilience builds a body of evidence that positions Aaron credibly for applied-AI roles as opportunities arise. The four reinforce each other: doing the research well produces material to experiment with, which generates work worth showing, which builds the evidence base for career optionality.
Aaron Lynch is a Senior Technical Business Analyst and Project Manager with over twenty years in financial services, based in London. His career runs from operations management at Aviva through enterprise BPM at Barclays and operating model design at IFM and TPI, to leading an IBOR platform transformation at Octopus Investments. He thinks agentic AI will restructure how organisations operate more fundamentally than anything in the past twenty years — and that most organisations are nowhere near ready for it. The gap between potential and practice is where his focus sits.
